Everyone knows what the problem is, and that same everyone expects someone else to come up with a solution.

Thing is Debs, the current mob are so shambolic there's not one explanation for the camera that would come as a surprise.

It is possibly telling how the narrative shifted so quickly from 'its a whistleblower and we need to protect the right to do that' to 'let's have an inquiry'.

I'm pretty sure that there is some kind of parliamentary agency at work here who cringe with embarrassment at lying, the cheating and general serfdom of what was once the last word in world democracy.

Let's hope that they succeed because let's face it, none of you cunts seem to give a shit.

Javid has said on the record that he's a Muslim in name only and doesn't practice

That's good for him isn't it. Given he was a major player at some investment bank and took a 99% pay cut to become an MP. Can't be having practicing Muslims making millions in the city, can we. That's haram.

Also that Johnson is pretty laissez-faire over funnelling public money to mistresses as he did it himself.

3. is the worst. It was confirmed today that her part-time non-exec appointment (taxpayers' money) was personally approved by Hancock himself. Johnson set a precedent that corruption was OK the moment he let Robert Jenrick off the hook.

4.You missed Gavin Williamson off that list.

'house arrest and curfew' is something i'd expect from 13BR.
You're better than that

Re: Matt Hancock - Resigned
There are four distinct issues here.

1) Snogging his secretary/PA/Aide - nobody does, or should, give a shit. Of no concern to anyone but his family.

2) Snogging away from home during a lockdown imposed by himself. Bang out of order. The hypocrisy of it far exceeds the deeds of Cummings, any other political figure from any party, any celeb, any Joe Blow. He's got the entire country under house arrest and curfew and thinks it doesn't apply to him.

3) The contracts awarded to her family and friends. Looks very dodgy for him. I don't know if there is sufficient evidence to bang him up, but it looks like he has been using his office(s) to line his own and his mates' pockets. Many on here have done time for much less.

4) The surveillance in his office. Possibly the most disturbing thing of all. Who is it that has taken it upon themself to decide who is and who isn't going to run the country? I don't give a fuck about Hancock personally, in fact he has always been one of my perennial candidates for 'most inept Tory' ( a difficult award to win, he is after all challenged by Grant Schapps, Chris Grayling and Karen 'what could possibly go wrong by putting a fanatical Remainer in charge of NI' Bradley), but the implications for our state security and democracy are deeply worrying.

NOBODY cares who is playing park the Percy with whom - except, possibly, a gaggle of 13 year old schoolboys.

Re: Matt Hancock - Resigned
I very much doubt Johnson sacked Hancock. His retrospective claim that he did sack him is a desperate face saving ploy devised after he saw the tide of public opinion turning against him for NOT sacking him. Simple as that.

The Prime Minister is an utter buffoon and charlatan.
